Overview #
K.U.B.O is a puzzle-platformer created during the CITM-UPC University Game Jam, where the theme was Paradox.
Our team decided to explore this concept through forced perspective and illusion-based level design.
You play as a small cube trapped in a 2D world. However, by pressing the red button, the environment briefly reveals its true 3D structure, exposing perspective tricks and hidden paths needed to solve each level.
This dual-view mechanic—2D gameplay with momentary 3D reveals—became the central paradox around which the entire game was built.
